ER Nurses are the first line of defense when responding to patient injuries, trauma, or allergic reactions. They are always prepared to respond to emergencies, assist doctors in emergency medical care, and ensure a high quality of nursing standards are maintained. We are seeking candidates that are able to remain calm under pressure, display sound decision-making skills and be attentive to patient needs. Education of patient’s family and other health care team members is provided by the RN, incorporating health maintenance, disease process and discharge planning.
Med/Surg nurses provide bedside care for pre-and-post surgery patients, monitoring vital signs, and administering prescribed medications. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with health professionals; changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs; adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements; monitoring patients’ vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely matter; as well as other duties as assigned.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or state approved school of Nursing.
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS and PALS preferred
•Hospital Nursing experience preferred
