Erinn received her BA in Health Sciences in 1997 and her MA in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in 1998. She has worked at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital and Water’s Edge Care Center (formerly Hayward Nursing Home) since June 2000. She works with residents in the Care Center, patients in the hospital and outpatients.
In 2005 Erinn became a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT) and uses that knowledge primarily to work with women after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment who develop swelling in the arm or chest on the affected side of their body. She can also see women with a referral from their doctor with a breast cancer diagnosis for an education on precautions to take to prevent lymphedema.
Erinn enjoys working in Hayward, as it allows her to work with patients of all ages and all diagnoses. Although she enjoys all aspects of her job, she is most passionate about treating orthopedic and repetitive stress injuries in the upper extremities, seen in the outpatient setting, and working toward getting her patients back to the activities they enjoy.
In her free time, Erinn likes to travel with her husband and two children, and spends as much as time as possible outdoors. She can often be found at the soccer field or in the gym, watching her kids play their favorite sports, soccer and basketball.
