We offer a variety of Educational Classes & Support Groups designed to support our community’s wellness needs.
The Breastfeeding Class helps women learn successful breastfeeding techniques and the benefits of breastfeeding.
This class is held in the Moose Lake Conference Room at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
The Childbirth Education Class is taught in three sessions. This class helps families prepare for the birth and care of an infant.

The purpose of the Diabetes Support Group is to increase diabetes care knowledge. Educational topics including nutrition, diabetes medications, healthy lifestyle changes, and glycemic targets are discussed. The group allows community members to connect and provide support to each other.
The group meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Lake Hayward Conference Room at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.
The Lactation Support Group is held on the 4th Thursday of every month. This Support Group is held at the Northwest Connection Family Resource Center from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.

The Parkinson’s Support Group encourages those affected by Parkinson’s to maximize strength, minimize impediments and achieve and maintain full potential. Family and friends are invited to attend.
The group meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm in the Lake Hayward Conference Room at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.
