Occupational Therapy

Hours: M-F; 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Our Occupational Therapy Department helps people of all ages learn methods of managing daily life with an injury, illness disability or a stroke.

Addressing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):    

  • Bathing and Showering

  • Toileting and Toilet Hygiene

  • Functional Mobility and Transfers
  • Personal Hygiene and Grooming

Addressing Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs):

  • Assistive Device Training
  • Environmental Adaptation

Pediatric Treatments

  • Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA)
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Orthopedic Injuries
  • Joint Replacement

  • Neurological Diseases

Lymphedema Therapy Certified Lymphedema Therapist who can specifically serve those with lymphedema and provide education to post-mastectomy patients about the precautions they should take to decrease their chances of getting lymphedema.

Services Specific to Long Term Care
Our staff works with Care Center residents on activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) and other treatments. They also assist with wheelchair positioning, in order to seat the residents in the most appropriate wheelchair for comfort and safety.
