(Hayward, WI) June 28, 2023 – Hayward Area Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Karlye Rodriguez-WIsdom, MD, a Hayward native, to its team of Family Medicine providers. Dr. Rodriguez-Wisdom is now accepting new patients.
Dr. Rodriguez-Wisdom is particularly interested in supporting patients with mental health conditions including depression, anxiety and other diagnoses. She has a passion for preventative care, managing chronic disease, and women’s health including pregnancy care and deliveries. “I want to help patients achieve the goals they have set for their health and wellbeing; whether that be supporting them with preventative care, weight loss therapy, diabetes or other needs,” says Dr. Rodriguez-Wisdom. “I focus on developing a long-term relationship with my patients and supporting them with our primary healthcare team.”
A proud graduate of Hayward Community School District, she is happy to serve the community in which she grew up. “If you know me as a community member, I’ll be happy to be your healthcare partner also. I’d welcome that,” says Rodriguez-Wisdom. “I am so grateful for this opportunity to return to my hometown. I hope to see lots of familiar faces as well as new ones.”

She earned her medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed her residency at St. John’s Family Medicine with University of Minnesota. Dr. Rodriguez-Wisdom is also fluent in Spanish and hopes to meet many Spanish-speaking patients. “Ya que hablo español, sería un privilegio poder conocer pacientes que hablen el idioma. Estoy aquí para ayudar en todo lo que sea posible.” [Since I speak Spanish, it would be a privilege to meet patients who speak the language. I am here to help in any way possible].
Dr. Rodriguez-Wisdom’s husband, Paulo, is also joining the team at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital as a skilled full-spectrum sonographer in the Radiology department. She and Paulo are looking forward to raising their three children in Hayward, taking advantage of the area’s unique offerings–especially the outdoor activities. When not working she enjoys reading and skiing.
